We are looking for a highly-motivated individual to join our Burlington location in the role of Engineering Product Designer.  Successful applicants will have successfully completed a minimum 3-year Mechanical Engineering program.  Strong project management skills, as well as training and experience in 2D and 3D CAD are required. Supervisory experience would be an asset.
  • Assist with development of new product designs
  • Bill of Materials creation, control and maintenance
  • Maintain production and specification drawings
  • Plant equipment designs & modification
  • Produce drawings for sales department within established deadlines
  • Perform structural design, calculations and testing of products
  • Troubleshoot and assist with problems
  • Continuous improvement of existing products and procedures
  • College diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the design of mechanical components and assemblies
  • Detail-oriented
  • Highly-motivated with the ability to self-manage and work independently
  • Accountable for results
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
  • Reliable, consistent, and focused
  • Must be trained and have extensive knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D software (Inventor preferred)
  • Must have full working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook
